Job Description 

CubeMatch is seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with business and technical teams to define and document business requirements. The role involves analyzing current business processes, creating As-Is and To-Be process maps, and facilitating requirement-gathering workshops. The Business Analyst will ensure that business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions, supporting delivery in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Work with business stakeholders to identify potential changes and improvement opportunities.
  • Capture, analyse, define, validate, and document functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Create As-Is process maps and facilitate workshops to design To-Be process maps.
  • Collaborate with IT analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Ensure IT feasibility assessments are completed before finalizing requirements.
  • Obtain and manage stakeholder sign-off on business requirements.
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for Waterfall projects and User Stories for Agile projects.
  • Validate that all business requirements have been addressed in Functional Specifications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting in the development of UAT test approaches.
  • Ensure requirements are met in the final solution implementation.
  • Monitor business design objectives to ensure timely results.
  • Provide updates to Project Managers and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Escalate any delivery risks or slippage to Project Managers and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems, break them into manageable components, and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Ability to challenge processes and decisions to drive improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and process mapping tools.
  • Broad knowledge of Retail Banking practices and financial services.
  • Understanding of Lean principles.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
