Job Description 

CubeMatch is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Regulatory Transaction Reporting, specifically related to HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority) and derivatives reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of the HKMA regulation, which governs the reporting of derivative transactions in Hong Kong and other relevant jurisdictions, including Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transaction-level reporting requirements, working closely with internal teams to support regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Analyze and interpret HKMA regulatory requirements for derivative transaction reporting and their applicability across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as an SME for transaction-level regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with HKMA and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams to support regulatory reporting initiatives.
  • Review and validate trade data and reporting submissions, identifying gaps and ensuring accuracy.
  • Work with stakeholders across different regions to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of system changes and enhancements to meet reporting obligations.
  • Conduct impact assessments on new regulatory developments and provide recommendations for compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, process flows, and reporting guidelines.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within regulatory reporting, derivatives, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of HKMA transaction reporting requirements and exposure to similar regulations in other jurisdictions (e.g., MAS in Singapore).
  • Deep understanding of derivative transactions, trade lifecycle, and regulatory obligations.
  • Experience working in risk, compliance, or operations teams within a financial institution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data quality, reporting accuracy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex regulations effectively.
  • Experience with trade reporting platforms, regulatory reporting systems, and transaction monitoring is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment, managing multiple priorities.
