On Thursday May 30th CubeMatch hosted a lunchtime webinar surrounding DORA. Our experts discussed the complexities of the DORA legislation and spoke about the 7-month deadline for compliance. CubeMatch CTO Keith Moran hosted the webinar and was joined by our two subject matter experts – Keith Blizzard and Daniel Crawley.

Keith Blizzard, Director and DORA Lead at Johnson Hana – Ireland’s leading alternative legal services provider, was our first speaker. Keith is a financial markets and regulation specialist with strong experience in EU regulatory implementation. He spoke on our panel providing a legal perspective to DORA Compliance touching on issues such as the 7-month countdown, contract lead times and who may be liable for non-compliance.

Daniel Crawley, Independent Programme Manager in Financial Services, was our second speaker. Daniel is based in the Netherlands working at a European Bank, investigating core banking system for their Spanish branch and DORA for the Group. He discussed the important Third-Party Provider Register and Risk management in relation to the DORA legislation, alongside who is responsible to sign off on compliance.

Our 45-minute webinar covered a variety of talking points in relation to the upcoming DORA deadline for compliance on January 17th, 2025. Keith Moran hosted an insightful discussion amongst our speakers who gave their expertise advice on subjects such as identifying scope, risk management, contract lead times, signing off on compliance and more.
