Job Description 

CubeMatch is looking for an Information Security Consultant to join our team. As a specialist responsible for securing the ICT infrastructure for our clients, you will be actively involved in information security at both tactical and operational levels. You will thrive in a technical environment where you can apply your knowledge and skills, while also serving as a full discussion partner for stakeholders. You will stay abreast of developments in information security and contribute to designing and implementing technical security solutions to ensure the continuity and security of digital applications and ICT infrastructure. Your experience in large, complex environments makes you a perfect fit for the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising a wide variety of stakeholders (Devops teams, management, contract managers, project managers, etc.) technically, content, and process-wise on how to implement the required security measures and minimise the risks;
• Working with the Security team on a wide variety of security and compliance tasks, e.g., periodically assessing the implementation of security controls within IT departments, regulatory compliance reporting, reviewing security documentation, deep-dive asset reviews, threat modelling, interpret vulnerabilities and security incidents on impact for services, supply chain security, etc.;
• Working in close cooperation with the Devops teams, Risk Management, and other internal stakeholders to proactively identify the appropriate security measures and implement them.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
 

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed college degree in the field of Cybersecurity or Business Informatics;
• One of the relevant information security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP and/or the motivation to pursue these certifications;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role such as Security Consultant or Security Engineer;
• Extensive experience with risk analysis, data classifications, and with drafting security policies, plans and audits;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch and English);
• Experience with the Agile way of working and tools like Jira and/or Confluence;
• The mentality of a true team player who can also work independently.
• Experience using automation, scripting, orchestration and CICD tools;
• Knowledge and/or experience with cloud security (Azure/AWS;
• You are familiar with security models and security architecture.
